.NET Backend Developer (APIs & Entity Framework)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated .NET Backend Developer with proficiency in APIs and Entity Framework to join our team at HireDot.Net. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of .NET technologies, with an emphasis on back-end development, APIs, and the Entity Framework. You will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and robust API solutions, contributing to our Entity Framework infrastructure, and collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance APIs using .NET and Entity Framework.
2. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
3. Develop database designs and ensure their smooth integration with Entity Framework.
4. Regularly participate in code reviews to spot any potential problem and improve code quality.
5. Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions to understand and influence the direction of software development.
6. Investigate and deploy new technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
3. Familiarity with the .NET framework, .NET Core, or .NET 5/6.
4. Proficiency in building Web APIs.
5. Experience with Entity Framework.
6. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
9. Understanding of REST and RPC APIs.
10. Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with Azure or other cloud services.
2. Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
3. Knowledge of Docker or other containerization technologies.
4. Exposure to front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js would be a plus.
